Your written quote
Build a cost-question worksheet.
Enter only quoted amounts, in dollars. Leave an unknown charge blank; a blank does not mean free. Enter zero only when the quote confirms no charge.
Use these sums to discuss the quote. They do not predict insurance payment or any unquoted charge.
Reconsider the care assumption
Ask what the headline leaves out.
Cost information as of September 26, 2026.
A drug maker’s published price is known as its list price. A cash quote applies outside insurance. A cost after insurance is what the plan leaves you to pay.
An online weight-care service may charge a membership: a fee you pay each month for care. Medicine may cost extra. Ask which visits and between-visit help the fee includes.

What cash prices can and cannot tell you
For the weight and diabetes brands checked, most drug-maker cash offers were about $149 to $499 a month.
Prices depend on the exact medicine, whether it is a pill or injection, its strength and the offer’s conditions. Some offers charge more if you order a refill too late. A monthly price may cover a box of pens, a bottle of pills or a supply measured in days. Ask how much medicine the quote includes.
Those figures cover medicine offers, not a Kansas clinic’s complete bill. Request the price for the exact product proposed for you.
Government price listings include starting offers. Some apply only to the first fills, rather than to every month.
Terms for several drug-maker offers and savings cards end on December 31, 2026. That calls for a fresh price check, not a guess about the next price.
Questions behind the total
Ask whether the care fee continues if a prescription is delayed or no medicine is prescribed. Ask when a cancellation takes effect.
Ask which tests are being considered and what each would cost. Make sure a quoted test price includes any added fee.
Request the delivery charge and the policy for a late or missing parcel. Ask whether any payment is required in advance.
Keep the quote date and the end of any offer with your notes. A blank line is a question to resolve.

Words to start the conversation
- What is included in the quoted care fee?
- What will I owe after the introductory offer?
- How do cancellation, refunds and delayed prescriptions work?
